Our Teachers

Always having an interest in health and wellness, eventually I found a need to find an activity that helped in dealing with stress and anxiety, bringing more balance into a hectic life schedule. I first participated in less physical forms of yoga, however, after only my second 26&2 Hatha Yoga Series class I decided to become a teacher.
In the Fall of 2001 I attended a 9 week intensive training for the 26&2 Hatha Yoga Series, formerly known as Bikram Yoga. In 2003 I purchased our existing yoga studio in the village of La Jolla. Jump ahead another 15 years and the studio continues to grow and my business partner is my daughter, Genevieve! Life has interesting twists and turns.
I continue to teach the 26&2 Series everyday and have been consistently teaching for over 18 years. I look forward to continuing a lifetime of teaching and sharing the gift of yoga with others.

I grew up in La Jolla, California and have been a dedicated athlete since I was a young child. In 2013 I decided to enroll in Yoga teacher training. Since then I have been a full time yoga teacher and partner of YogaFuzn in La Jolla. Yoga has opened many doors in my life and I will forever be grateful for the gift it has given me.

I was 16 when I took my first 26&2 class in my New Hampshire hometown. Though my practice was initially motivated by cross-training for ballet, I quickly fell in love with the intense challenge of this series and the way it benefited me physically, mentally, emotionally, and otherwise.
I competed in national and international yoga asana championships for over 10 years, and am the five-time US national women's champion. I attended the 2018 Progressive Hatha Yoga Training in Thailand thanks to their sponsorship of the national championship winners. I taught and trained at Yogativiti in Shelton, CT, from 2020 until moving to San Diego in 2022.
As a medical student, I am incredibly grateful for the chance to reset my body and mind in the hot room each day. I strive to bring this same challenging and rewarding experience to my students throughout each and every class.

Born and raised in La Jolla. My yoga journey began over 25 years ago after seeking recovery from two lung surgeries. After taking my first 26/2 class I instantly found solace in the transformative power and healing properties yoga offered. Cultivating the mind-body connection while building strength, flexibility and balance are experiences I hope to share with you.
