26 & 2 - 90 Minutes

26 & 2 is a series of Hatha Yoga postures and two breathing exercises. This is the original Bikram Series as practiced at our studio for over 15 years. Each posture is completed two times in a room heated to 40°C (105 °F) with 40% humidity. It's a perfect class for Beginners. All levels of practice are welcome. Please review new student information if you are considering this class.

FŪZN Sculpt - 45 Minutes

Sculpt is a yoga and pilates inspired class with light weights, designed to tone & sculpt your entire body. Please review new student information if you are considering this class.


FŪZN Flow - 60 Minutes

A 60 minute flow combining the hatha and vinyasa styles. This sequence will vary and primarily focuses on building core strength and increasing hip and shoulder flexibility. Practiced in a warm room and suitable for all levels. Please review new student information if you are considering this class.


FŪZN Yinyasa - 60 Minutes

Yinyasa is a combination of vinyasa flow (active yang yoga) and Yin yoga (passive stretching). The first half of class will build internal heat in the body, the second half will release connective tissue, and create integrity in the joints to remove blockages to internal energy flow. Practiced in a warm room and suitable for all levels. Please review new student information if you are considering this class.

  • What is YOGAFUZN?
  • YOGAFŪZN combines various concepts of Yoga under one healing space. The foundation of the studio instruction comes from contemporary Hatha Yoga, executing one posture at a time without flow. YOGAFŪZN builds on that foundation by introducing class sequences with flow and diversifying instruction.
    YOGAFŪZN also introduces a new space dedicated to Jiu-Jitsu. YOGAFŪZN has joined efforts with Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu of La Jolla to inspire both communities. Each business has its own practice space with students who go back and forth between the two.
    Jiu-Jitsu and Yoga train the body and mind through physical control and awareness of breath. If you are interested in more information about Yoga and/or Jiu-Jitsu please feel free to contact us at the studio, or come in for a visit.

  • What is Your Morning Routine?
  • A morning routine of focused physical and mental exercise can start a great day. Below are two ways to start your morning yoga routine.
    If you can get to the studio, group morning classes inspire and encourage togetherness. Since the practice is shared by all, there is a feeling of combined awareness and energy. You feel the support of everyone working together. If you need encouragement, support and push, the early morning classes provide this. For me, morning yoga is the best start to my day.
    For those who cannot get to the studio, a home practice requires just a few minutes of the morning. It is a great space for alone time and a chance for your brain to wake up. Practicing at home can improve your discipline and self-control. Genna enjoys a Vinyasa Flow in the morning which requires a small space to move in. Follow Genna at Instagram #YogaFuznMorning, to lead you in home practice.

  • Mother and daughter business partners of YOGAFŪZN, Genna and Colleen, share a common business vision.
    Genna has taught yoga since 2013. Outside the studio you can find her on the beach, surfing or sharing her Instagram Yoga practice with the community. Jiu-Jitsu is a newer passion for Genna, with perfect timing as Colleen and Genna welcome Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu and the additional space to the La Jolla studio.
    Colleen completed her yoga teacher training in 2001 and has been teaching since. She operates the business and is slowly handing over the reins to her daughter. Genna has taken on the role of outreach and advertising through social media, assists with sales and delivering new ideas that are constantly reshaping the future of the business.
    YOGAFŪZN, formerly known as Bikram Yoga La Jolla, continues the tradition of the Bikram Yoga style with a 26 & 2 class offering, in addition to new class styles listed on the schedule.

We offer a Free Class to Local San Diego Residents who are new to our studio, ID is required. Local residents attending a free class must register online (below) and call in advance to schedule your visit. 619.847.8108
ID/proof of residency must be presented at time of visit.


New Students, who are Not Local Residents, visiting the San Diego area can register online (below) and attend any class as a walk in student.

To prepare for your visit, please review all of the information on this page and be sure to arrive 15 minutes before your class.

What to Expect

This information will help the first time student prepare for class. It will also provide follow up guidelines for the hours/days following your experience.


  • Welcome to YOGAFUZN
  • I hope your first class experience is enjoyable. The heat can be very challenging your first several classes, be patient.
    After a couple classes, you will get used to the heat and begin to realize its value. YOGAFŪZN benefits the mind and body in countless ways. Being consistent in practice, three times per week is best, is very important.
    Feeling a little overwhelmed after your first class is normal, but, come back soon, tomorrow would be perfect! There are many who practice this yoga everyday. With consistent practice, your body adjusts quickly to the heat and you will begin to see and feel the improvements.

Warrior Flow - 60 Minutes

A 60 minute flow combining Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. There is variation in this sequence, primarily focused on building core strength and increasing hip and shoulder flexibility. This class takes place in a warm room and all levels of practice are welcome. Please review new student information if you are considering this class.


Power YOGAFŪZN - 60 Minutes

A 60 minute flow class taught in a warm room. Class sequence varies and is derived from Vinyasa style of yoga. All levels of practice are welcome. Please review new student information if you are considering this class.


  • BRING

  • Large Beach Towel and Shower Towel (rental towels are $5/towel)

  • Comfortable athletic clothes:
  • Sports Bra
  • Tank tops
  • Running or Yoga Shorts
  • Avoid sweat pants and heavy t-shirts. You will sweat a lot, dress accordingly, less clothing is best.
  • PREPARE
  • Drink a lot of water throughout the day so you are well hydrated.
  • Come with an empty or near empty stomach.
  • Towels are available for rent.
  • Mats are available for purchase only.
  • Assorted beverages are available for purchase.

  • YOU CAN EXPECT:
  • to drink plenty of fluids to re-hydrate and prepare for your next workout or class.
  • to feel soreness in places you were unaware you had. Some aches and pains will go away, only to be replaced with new ones. As your joints discover added flexibility discomfort may arise. Be open to the feeling of discomfort, as through these sensations your body and mind learn what is "right" and what is "wrong". Flexibility is gained and maintained through consistent effort, determination and concentration.
  • renewed and gained strength in the aspects of your mind: concentration, determination, discipline, faith, patience and self-control.
  • to have healthier looking skin, shiny hair and healthy digestion.
  • feel a little lightheaded, dizzy and/or nauseous. These healthy sensations, experienced during class, are ways your body communicates with you. Yoga will teach you self awareness through sensation.
  • to breathe better, feel more relaxed and learn more about who you are.
  • to respond better when life treats you unfair.
  • to gain balance; in your mind, body and life.
  • Whether it is your first or hundredth class, come to Bikram Yoga with no expectations. Do the best you can. Discover the power of your breath. Discover the power of meditation as so many have for thousands and thousands of years.

Policies

In order to maintain harmony, respect, and to preserve the sanctity of the studio, we ask that you read and abide by our policies.


  • ARRIVAL
  • Upon entering, please remember to sign-in at the self-sign in station, or visit the front desk. Please do not assume you're checked in without signing in at one of the two options listed above.
  • Walk-ins are welcome. It is not necessary to sign-up for classes online although this option is available. Phone reservations are not accepted.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
  • Leave shoes in the designated shoe area.
  • Silence cell phones and pagers and leave them in the changing room cubbies. No cell phones allowed in Yoga Room.
  • Please wait in the Lobby Area until the room is prepared for the next class, this helps to keep our hallway clear for passage.
  • Keep your body and feet clean before entering the Yoga Room and refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, or strong scents.
  • Bring a positive attitude and an open mind.

  • CHANGING ROOMS
  • Please keep your showers to less than 5 minutes..
  • Leave all belongings in the designated areas.
  • Only flush toilet paper down toilets, any other articles please use the trash cans provided.
  • Please alert the front desk to any problems or messes.

  • ROOM & DURING CLASS
  • New students and beginners should set their mats up in the back rows, it will be better suited for observing class instructions.
  • Remain Silent. Many students use the time before class to quietly meditate and center themselves as they prepare for class.
  • Students must be in the Yoga Room before class begins. Yoga is a discipline; latecomers are not admitted.
  • All students must use a mat and large towel.
  • When setting up your mat be courteous of the students already in the Yoga Room. Be conscientious of another person’s view of the mirror.
  • Please try and remain in the class the entire 90 minutes. If you must leave please do so quietly, make eye contact with the teacher, wait to reenter the Yoga Room when students are in-between postures.
  • Dispose of gum in a tissue and in the trash can. No gum in the Yoga Room.
  • Only plastic and metal bottles are allowed in the studio. No Glass Bottles.

  • AFTER CLASS
  • Observe silence after the final savasana. Leave the Yoga Room quietly. Respect others.
  • Place all yoga towels and lavender towels in the silver buckets outside of the Yoga Room.
  • Be sure to pick up any trash left behind. (tissues, hair ties, band-aids, bottles, etc.)
  • Please check your belongings when you leave. Lost and found is donated weekly.
  • If you have sweat profusely, it is your responsibility to clean up after yourself. A towel can be rented at the front desk if necessary. In the future, please bring an additional towel and plastic bag into class in order to carry your setup out of the studio without leaving a trail of sweat.

  • Why is the room heated?
  • A warm room for yoga practice encourages the body's muscles to move more fluidly and therefore also helps to prevent injuries. The elevated temperature also helps the body to metabolize fat and eliminate toxins.
  • What if I'm not flexible?
  • It's okay if you are inflexible. The whole idea of practicing yoga is to learn "how" to gain flexibility. Flexibility is only a small part of what you will learn. In the process of daily practice you will learn more than you thought possible.
  • Can I lose weight?
  • Each posture combines flexibility, strength, and balance to challenge the body. With practice, the body becomes leaner, firmer, and stronger.
  • What other benefits are there?
  • Stress reduction, healing injuries, improved concentration, pain relief, improved self esteem, and improved stamina.
